The Story Behind the Practice
Jacquellyn Palmer founded JP Recovery Services after years of working in behavioral health, recovery support, and case management in Northern California.
JP Recovery Services offers personalized, peer-based recovery and self-development support grounded in lived experience, professional training, compassion, and accountability, for women in Santa Rosa and Sonoma County.
Recovery means more than leaving harmful behaviors behind. It can include rebuilding identity, relationships, self-trust, stability, and purpose. That's the work we do here.
"You're not behind. You're building."
- Jacquellyn Palmer, Founder
Our Philosophy
01
Lived Experience Matters
Peer support works because it comes from someone who has been there. Jacquellyn brings both professional training and personal understanding to every session.
02
Coaching Is Not Therapy
JP Recovery Services provides coaching, education, and peer support, not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or crisis intervention. We're clear about that boundary, and we respect it.
03
You Set the Pace
There's no one-size-fits-all timeline for growth. We meet you where you are and move at a pace that works for your life.
04
Accountability Without Shame
Real growth requires honest reflection. We hold space for both: the hard truths and the compassion needed to move through them.
